ELLA PROBERTS

Ella Proberts is an Australian actress with a lifelong love of performance, first discovering her passion for storytelling at just six years old in a community drama class. Since then, she has continued to build a dynamic career across both screen and stage.

Ella’s recent screen work includes playing Sascha in the feature film The Edge, now streaming on Netflix, and Daniela, one of the leading roles in the Disney Channel feature film The Curious Case of Dolphin Bay, available on Disney+ and Amazon Prime.

Her training is extensive, completing full-time studies at NIDA and further developing her craft with Queensland Theatre, giving her a strong technical foundation and the versatility to work confidently across genres and mediums.

Beyond acting, Ella’s passion for storytelling extends into writing and journalism. Graduating as Valedictorian from the University of Queensland’s School of Communication and Arts, she went on to work as a journalist for the ABC and has written for both stage and screen. She also completed a dramatic writing short course at RADA in London and continues to write under the mentorship of award-winning playwright Paul Sirett.



Movement and physical storytelling play an important role in her practice. Growing up in competitive gymnastics, Ella now channels that discipline into team triathlons and ocean swimming, bringing a grounded physicality and strong presence to her performances.

Ella is an exciting emerging talent whose dedication, craft, and passion for authentic storytelling make her a compelling presence on Australian screens.
